Model History and Information: Fifty-three-foot dry van trailers are widely used across the United States for long-haul freight, including beverage distribution, because they offer the maximum cargo length generally permitted on the interstate highway system. This 1:50 scale set pairs a Coca-Cola liveried day-cab tractor with a matching 53-foot trailer. The trailer's rear doors open, its landing gear can be raised or lowered, and the tractor and trailer can be coupled or separated for independent display, a common way collectors show off large-scale truck models.
